CHANGE

We all have big changes in our lives that are more or less a second chance.
Harrison Ford (1942 - ), quoted by Garry Jenkins in 'Harrison Ford: Imperfect Hero

TODAY MY #2 DAUGHTER IS HAVING LASIK SURGERY- SHE IS A BIT SCARED, BUT EXCITED AS WELL. SHE HAS WORN GLASSES SINCE SHE WAS 8 YEARS OLD. SHE PRETTY MUCH WEARS COKE BOTTLES NOW AND IS IN REALITY LEGALLY BLIND. IF SHE MISPLACES HER GLASSES SOMEONE HAS TO FIND THEM FOR HER. I EXPECT ALL TO GO WELL, SHE IS HAVING ONE OF THE FOREMOST SURGEONS IN THE COUNTRY DO IT. SHE HAS WAITED FOR QUITE AWHILE TO DO. I THOUGHT SHE SHOULD WAIT TILL THE PROCEDURE WAS PERFECTED. CAN'T WAIT TO SEE HER REACTION WHEN SHE GETS IT DONE LATER TODAY.I HAVE ALWAYS HAD GOOD EYESIGHT SO I CAN'T REALLY UNDERSTAND HER NOT BEING ABLE TO SEE AT SUCH AN EARLY AGE. HOWEVER AGE IS DEFINITELY CREEPING UP ON ME SO MUST WEAR FOR READING- WHAT A PIA. SO GOOD LUCK TO HER!
