After 1990

If you were born after 1990, you probably won't know a thing about these things, unless of course you read alot, LOL
The automat
Black & White Movies
Blue Laws
Carbon Paper
The Draft- not the footbal or baseball kind!
Handkerchiefs
House Calls- not the tv program
Leisure suits
Mending
Paper Dolls
The smell of Burning Leaves
An Unanswered phone

Oh, life is a glorious cycle of song,A medley of extemporanea; And love is a thing that can never go wrong; And I am Marie of Romania.
Dorothy Parker (1893 - 1967), Not So Deep as a Well (1937), "Comment"

I remember these things...how about washers that you had to feed the clothing between the ringers to remove the excess water.Imagine a time time when folks did not have indoor plumbing and now there are multiple luxurious baths in homes. Read yesterday that the avarage age of the boomers is now 52.
