lavendar blue

You should see this tree when it is in full bloom! So pretty and fragrant! I really had never heard of it before coming to Florida. Name it, if ya can.

Potatoes! The other day I asked hubby to put some potatoes on so I could make Scalloped Potatoes & Kielbasa. Did he ever put potatoes on! He cooked 10 pounds. What did he think, I was cooking for an army?? We were having friends over, BUT!

We have been eating potatoes for every meal since then. I have made potato quiche, fried potatoes & kielbasa, home fries & eggs.

Was gonna make potato salad, but only have three left-OMY! so am gonna make potato, tomato, chicken & cheese quesadilla. SO what else could be done. I know I won't be having potatoes for awhile!

sorry shoe you are wrong

After looking closer, I knew I was, as the leaves are all wrong. It looks more like mimosa leaves, and Royal Paulownia has larger leaves. The flowers are funny because they have that foxglove shape. So, what is it??

I once made 5 lbs. of potato salad for a good-sized gathering, and it was way too much! Egads.

It looks like wisteria growing on the tree but I guess I'm wrong if that's the tree's blossom. Not sure what the tree is. When I enlarged the shot it still looked like wisteria growing around the tree and the feathery leaves look a little like mimosa but the bark and trunk don't so I guess I'm not good at guessing.

Cool that your last name and my first are the same. I was named after my grandfather who died when my mom was a baby. It was his middle name but everyone called him Carver. It was my middle name too but no one ever called me anything but Carver so when I got married I legally dropped Jane which was actually my first name and Carver legally became my first name, instead of my middle name. Whew, how's that for me being a long winded Carver.
