He was in our Sunday School class and had such a wonderful knowledge of the scriptures.
Just another reminder of how frail life is! I was talking with him in his house yesterday
and he looked fit as a fiddle. We joked and had a good visit!
This is a pic of my youngest grandson next to a 'precious moments' doll that looks amazingly like him! In fact, I bought the doll cause it reminded me so much of him.
It is RAINING here and I feel like I am back up north, I can't seem to get warm today Me sitting here with a sweater on! Did I say it was RAINING & COLD! Tomorrow my friend wants to have another yard sale. I am telling ya if it's like this I will not be going.
I have to pack, get my cards written, shampoo the carpets, o and generally clean the house before I go up north. I never want to come home from vaca with the house a mess! My family used to think me crazy when I'd go on vaca and make sure everything was all spruced up before going. BUT they always liked coming home to clean sheets and towels etc. It was always worth the effort and will be this time too!
Dont forget the giveaway and to tell me you want to be entered. see previous post

We do need to appreciate everyone while we can...Your grandson does look like the doll and I too clean my house before I go away...Michelle
oh my goodness that is so sad about Ezra. We get a lot of old people in the store I work at and I would be devastated if one of them died. Of course I'm quite sensitive lately with my grandfather's passing. I will say a prayer for Ezra.
Hugs.
I am the same way, whenever we leave for a vacation I clean and spruce up a lot before we go. Cute pic of the doll and your grandson. So sad about the older gentleman passing, I hope it was easy.
I love ficus trees and how vigorous they are in the South.
I'm sorry about your neighbor. Your grandson is a lot cuter than the doll. I am a terrible housekeeper but I like to leave my house at least reasonably clean too. Much nicer to come home to.
Sorry to hear about your neighbor.
I hope you have a wonderful time. I agree it is worth to effort when you can come home to a clean house. Love the doll and I can see some resemblance to your grandson. He is a real cutie. (The doll and the grandson)
It sounds like Ezra's passing was a gift. First, he had a right relationship with God, and then his passing was quick... no fuss. That's a good way to go.
My heart goes out to his family and friends, though.
We've been told some sleet and snow is on the way for us. Not looking forward to it.
Your grandson is a very handsome young man.
Life is indeed a very frail gift.
Have a terrific day. :)
How sad you lost your friend so suddenly, specially this time of the year. I really feel for his family, and for you because I know you lost a friend. Your grandson looks precious and I love the doll. Have a great trip up north. I agree, always nice coming back to a tidy, uncluttered home.
