doggie days

Ok folks here is the new puppie I got for my
granddaughters 9th birthday. Both of them are
crazy about dogs. In fact all the kiddos love them.

She is a Yorkie Poo- She is so sweet. I don't think Snickers has quite figured out what she is yet. A wind up toy or what! Uh OOO she just grabbed one of his favorite toys and ran off with it.
Good boy- he is sharing.
Right now she is going by Sadie Lynn.
My friends have given her some real names! (Desdimona, Baby Beamer, Onyx, Sheba, Emma).
I don't think she weighs a pound yet. She is 9 weeks old.
She likes to grab snickers scarf and pull on it! I am supposed to have her toilet trained by the time I take her up to Maryland-wish me luck on that one. It's all I can do to get her to eat right now.
The collar I bought her is too big, and it's the smallest one I could find. She is only supposed to get to about 7 pounds. She looks about the size of Snickers when we got him.
It's real hard to get the dogs to both look at ya the same time. I guess I didn't do too badly. Dau #1 is scolding her now for biting her toes.
Aunt Mel looks like she can love all the dogs HUH!

A boy can learn a lot from a dog: obedience, loyalty, and the importance of turning around three times before lying down.

Dogs are not our whole life, but they make our lives whole.

Try a film camera to get a picture of both dogs at once - no shutter lag.

She might take a bit longer to house train because of her size. Those little bladders can't hold much. And it's way too soon.

Is Snickerdoodle always that dressed up or was this just for the birthday and photos??

aww. cute doggie!
good luck with the toilet training. my limited experience is that dogs who are old enough to be housebroken can pick up the general idea within a few days, but that it takes another month or so before they're consistent. just make sure your daughter knows that that she'll probably have to do some housebreaking training on her end, too. the puppy may be confused a few days before she figures out the new home.
okay, enough dog whispering. i think she's an adora-dog! congrats to the twins!!

To my way of thinking, they both look like wind-up toys!
