thoughful thursday

Dau #1 & Twins

I don't know why I get this way?
Seems like I am so sad today.
I feel homesick?

I actually miss friends and family
that are too far away for me to see easily,
but I don't know if that would do the trick?

I feel some kind of impending doom
and here it is the beginning of June
Where flowers are in full bloom!

O could it be the rain or the moon,
that has filled me with so much gloom?
Just snap out of it you crazy loon!

All is well in this living room,
grandchildren watching movies
clothes are being folded,
and you sit here trying to rhyme!

Climb up on some hill at sunrise. Everybody needs perspective once in a while, and you'll find it there.

Sorry about that, I deleted my comment because of too many typos. What I was saying was I get those feelings too and that's when I grab my camera because it relaxes me when I wake up feeling anxious. I loved your poem and photos of your daughter and grandkids.

Hope you are feeling better now

We all have a day now and then like that. Thank goodness mine don't last too long. Hope yours doesn't either. Twins look like they would rather be anyplace then in front of the camera. That video of the baby, I thought she sounded like she was trying to sing.

Hope you mood has improved with the day. Seems like the older I get the more days I have like that.

Great pictures. Very cute girls (all three) :) I would love to have the hibiscus in my yard.

My mother has a name for that and I can't think of it..but we all get those feelings from time to time... Loss and sadness just sneaks in and takes over...I hope you feel better and sending cyber-hugs...

Loved your poem and I have felt the same way, periods of sadness for no apparent reason...makes me wonder what in the world is coming next....but then I get better...

I liked the photos!
