WOW! END of JULY- already!

Daytona Beach Bike Week 2009

I still will never get used to how the time flies anymore.
Seems like I get up and before I know it the day is over!
days turn to weeks and weeks to years.
Does it seem the same to you all too!?

When I'm in the throws of say cleaning house & doing laundry like today.
The time goes by too slow, but then before I know it the day has past and what did I do!
I cleaned the whole downstairs, did 4 loads of laundry, hung out , etc and
before I knew it was cooking supper.

Dau #2 went crazy out in the yard, chopping down yet another tree
then making a place for her new Chimeras for the family to enjoy fires in the eve.
I don't download pics here on her computer, but believe me I say she did allot of work today.

This eve I started another sewing project. I am gonna make
new bible covers for the granddaughters.
Got the material all measured and cut and will now need to sew.
That's unless dau #2 has some other outdoor project in mind! teehee

Going to the 'Women of Faith Concert' over the weekend in Washington DC.
Will prob do metro!? although travelling by car is so much better when ya have to take someone in a wheelchair.
I am sure me and the daughters will have a good time.
We have enjoyed them before.

While visiting other blogs, and comments. I just stumble across your journal. I don't know how I missed not discovering it sooner. Your journal is heart warming, uplifting and interesting to read. Thank you for sharing.

Have fun at the concert! I have been trying to make cloth totes, and bags......I think we talked about this years ago. I finally have a workspace again. Almost anyway. Need to add a long worktable and I'm all set. I remember being a child and could not wait to be old enought to have a home of my own. Now I ask where does the time go?

time does fly like crazy. i can't believe we're at the end of July, either!
when i turned 20, i remember an old lady telling me that life would just fly by, now. i didn't believe her then. but now, it seems like 20 was only yesterday, but it was 13 years ago! where was, when i was 20, 13 years before that seemed eons and eons ago!

I can't believe time is rushing by as it is either. I hope you have a wonderful time at the concert.

OK, if that's Daytona Beach during bike week, bikers sure have changed a lot while I wasn't looking!

OH my you wear me out just reading this. You sound like someone I would have loved in my life as a grandma, especially the hanging the laundry out on the clothesline. I so remember that as a child. When we moved here 25 plus years ago I hung up laundry a few times but then my clothesline was taken down to make way for something else, (a patio) and there are times I miss it.
