WATER

Niagara Falls
you can actually get this close

Ok I am on a nature trail this week, go figure. Maybe just reminiscing about vacations of the past?
I have always been fascinated with Niagara Falls. That much water coming continually. I have even seen it in the middle of winter when the water was frozen @ midnight with the moon glistening its texture, but somehow the rumble of water continues! Amazing I tell ya!
I also think I love it so much because its nature, God's amazing nature. Plus its not like going to an amusement park, you don't have to pay just to see it! Just like Mt Rushmore!
You don't have to stand in a big line with folk pushing, grabbing or grumbling just looking in awe!
I took just about every exchange student to it- 9 of them. It always made for a fun 4 day weekend for the family! Now we would have to get passports to go Canadian side. thinking of that I have to get mine updated! Tell ya why later!
Aim at heaven and you will get earth thrown in. Aim at earth and you get neither. C. S. Lewis
I believe in Christianity as I believe that the sun has risen: not only because I see it, but because by it I see everything else. C. S. Lewis
p.s. anybody have any knee arthritis remedies besides knee replacement? mine is KILLING ME!

For the knees...try the cortisone shots. Some folks swear by it.

Nature is indeed the best view of all.

Have a terrific day. :)

I haven't been to Niagara Falls in years. I should try to plan a daytrip with the family before summer is over.

I've never been; I can barely imagine how mind-bending it is to attempt calculating that constant, massive flow.

One of the ladies at work has been getting some kind of injection that is NOT cortisone. It has helped her a lot! I'll ask again what it is and pass it on.

If not, there's always Percoset ;-)

Such a great photo. I would love to visit the falls, but I doubt I'll ever get there. Love the quotes. Hope your knee is feeling better.

That's a beautiful picture. I do hope your feeling better soon.

I love rivers and water falls. Some years ago I had my picture taken, sitting in a river called Lower falls. Then on an old railroad trussel over a river, close to home.

Thank you for sharing

I went to see Niagara Falls last Thanksgiving, and had not been there in 20 years. It's stunning. I find all bodies of water - from creeks to oceans - to be healing.

Beautiful photo. There is nothing like a free day out in nature...and yes no lines in the summer heat waiting to get in somewhere.

Fantastic shot. I was in that same spot several years ago. Never been lucky enough to see it in the middle of winter though. That also must be an amazing sight. I hope someone can give you advice on that knee of yours. Hope it's okay by now.
