Another year

Today it has been a year since the hubby died. Am doing ok, just gotta keep busy, and its always busy around here. We are getting ready to go up I95 to NJ. I sure hope the snow & ice pass us by, but all the weather men say something is coming.
Don't really have that much time to post but wanted to say

THE WINNER IS; Denise- I will send when I get back if ya send me you address!

Yikes another year is passing by! when we were kids it seemed like forever from one year to the next, but now it goes by in light-speed! May everyone have a wonderfully blessed NEW YEAR.
Health, wealth, prosperity!

I think I could write a book about my grandson! Right now he is sitting near me, he got new boots for Christmas and is swinging them around saying it's booty time- he really doesn't realize what us gutter minded adults are laughing at. He is part of what keeps me from crying, glad I came up north for the holidays.
Leaving in an hour gotta go for real!

It is clear that your husband lives on in your heart. I am glad you are with family today - safe travels. And I am going to say, "it's booty time" every time I pull on my boots now. :) Out of the mouths of babes...

I too am glad you are with family. It is so clear when you post that your husband is still traveling this life's journey with you, he is right there holding your hand.
I love the "it's booty time" statement too, I will giggle about that all day long.

I'm glad you spent Christmas with your children and grandchildren. I know this has to be a difficult time but staying busy and being with loved ones can make all the difference.

Good to be with your family right now then. I am so sorry, I didn't know about your hubby. Forgive me for not realizing that before. I am glad you have been with your family. Your grandson sounds precious and yes out of the mouths of babes. Thank you for the message about the giveaway. I will send you an e-mail with my address. It's so kind of you to do that.

So adorable about your grandson.

Today marks 7 years since my husband's death. I remember the one year anniversary and I was still a basket case then. You are in my prayers.

I remember coming across your blog a year ago, after christmas and reading your husband had passed away. I'm sure time helps a little but I'm sure you miss him so much. I have a friend who lost her husband suddenly a year or so ago (September 2008) and the first year anniversary was so hard for her.

Hope you get back to your warmth soon.
